My First Blog

Hello, world. My name is Jessica. I wont get into too much back story, but my husband of three years and I just had our second daughter, Alexis, two weeks ago. Our two year old, Haylie, completely adores her and has to be involved in her life every waking moment. It's adorable, and I'm glad there's no jealousy yet, but sometimes it only makes things harder. Like giving Lexie baths, or putting her down for a nap. It seems I am always swatting little hands away or saying "Okay, Haylie. That's enough kisses now. You can kiss her later." Sometimes I just want to pull my hair out. 

I suppose that's  why I created this blog. Aside from reading my friend Amber's blog =) I'm trying to stay sane. Trying to fight off the postpartum depression that threatens to raise it's ugly, pimpled, little head. Also, it keeps me writing and goodness knows, with two kids, my creativity is dwindling. Hopefully I can keep my life interesting enough for a blog, so be patient with me.
