Brandon's boss just keeps bumping him back and forth. At least when he works nights he's the manager, when he works days he's 'assistant' manager. Who knows what that even means. Anyway, at least this way we can all eat dinner as a family and Haylie can actually see him during the week. Well, both girls can see him, but I can see how much Hayls misses Daddy when he's gone.
I figured out how to outsmart Haylie with her 'what' thing. I don't repeat myself. If I tell her to put the vacuum back in the closet and she says "what?" all I do is look at her. Then she says "putda vacuum back?" Ah-ha! So no more repeating myself. She obviously understands what I'm asking her, she's just being ornery. Also, instead of calling Alexis 'Baby' like she used to, she is now calling her 'Sister.' It's adorable, and reminds me of my youngest sister, Rebecca, because she used to call the three of us 'sisters' like that. Makes me miss her. Makes me miss all of them.
I tell my sisters they were practice for when I became a mom. I've always thought of my little sisters as my first kids =] Yeah, now that I am a mom I realize it's a little more different than what I thought it'd be, but not by much, and I really did feel that 'mother bear' love about my sisters.
Anyway, I may post more later. Maybe even another poem. We'll see what happens.
