Okay. So maybe I wont be able to write EVERY day. But at least now I can spend this whole blog sharing what happened over the weekend as opposed to digging up my past again. After all, my past is boring compared to what my life is like now.
Anyway, on Friday, during his lunch break, Brandon sold the motorcycle. And after Bran got off work we drove to Urgent Care to get his leg checked out from his little tip. The doctor said it could be a third degree burn, so Brandon is now on medication and narcotics. After that pit stop we headed to my grandparents' mint farm in Montana to visit (and to buy a Toyota Forerunner.) We actually came out ahead that way instead of just trading straight across. We made $100. A great deal at the time.
It was pretty late once we got to their farm. The fact that once you cross the Idaho/Montana boarder you are an hour ahead made it even later. So we get there at 11:30 p.m. and go to bed. We brought the pack 'n' play for Lexie and Hayls was going to sleep in bed with us. No such luck. Haylie was rolling all over me, crying the whole time. 4 hours straight. Meanwhile, Alexis SLEPT that whole 4 hours! The first large chunk she's ever slept. I was bummed, to say the least. We were at the end of our rope, so what do we do? We switch them. Put our two year old in the pack 'n' play and had our (almost) 4 week old sleep in bed with us. Should have done that from the start because Hayls passed out instantly.
We stayed in Montana most of the day Saturday and then headed home. We stop by the house and the battery in the forerunner splits open. Yeeeaaaah. I'll let that sink in for a second. We had just got that rig a few hours earlier and as soon as we get home the battery's a bust. After Brandon puts his old battery in it we go to David and Ashley's and hang out for a while. Come home and at about 12 Alexis gets this HUGE messy diaper that goes all the way up her back. So after I get her bathed and start a load of laundry I head to bed. At about 1.
Even with the lack of sleep I was still able to get up, get the girls ready and be bright eyed and bushy tailed at church the next morning. Yay me =)
After church Brandon drove the forerunner to Shucks and Napa to have it looked at. It will cost us WAY too much to fix it up. So we're going to sell it. As soon as Brandon listed it on Craigslist, viola! He takes it to Spokane and two people look at it. One guy will for sure by it tomorrow for 2,500. Yes, we come out WAY ahead to sell it. I guess it was a sound investment even though we only owned it for a couple days.
